I am a Fine Artist whose practice explores femininity through the language of painting. My work focuses on oil-painted portraits, often portrayed in soft pastel and muted tones, where the face becomes both subject and site of reflection.

 

Influenced by feminist theory and literature, my work interrogates the politics of looking; how women are seen, depicted, and consumed in visual culture. I am particularly interested in the tensions between visibility and concealment, spectatorship and power.
